T.I.T.A.N.I.C. ... again?

Well, I just saw Avatar this morning. My opinion: you've seen this story a hundred times, but never like this. Finally 3D is what it's supposed to be, an instrument at the service of the movie. You'll enjoy the visual experience, no doubt.
As for the story, som of the 'inspirations' are so huge and so obvious the mentioning two or three of them woudl REALLY ruin the movie for you and I'm not willing to do that. Lots of mysticism and acology, if you like that stuff. If you're 15 or so, you'll have a great time thinking that it's the first time somebody makes something like this. If you're an experienced movie watcher, better leave your skepticism at the door, bring lots of popcorn and enjoy with the usual action-flick-with-moral-and-loads-of-clichés.
I liked it, however: "the movie that re-invents movies"??? No way.
Så kändes det för mig i alla fall. Även vad Emma Gray Munthe skrev på sin blogg om att lämna "cynikern inom sig utanför" stämmer likaväl.
På många sätt gör han typ samma film igen; mitt i en stor katastrof uppstår en omöjlig kärlek mellan man och kvinna från olika världar. Men på de flesta andra sätt är den inte ens nästan lik Titanic, men ändå sjukt lik... men ändå inte.
M.E.-tråkiga
Fan va besviken jag blev. Hade inte så väldigt höga förhoppningar på Metropia men hoppades verkligen på mer än vad jag fick. Det skulle lätt kunna sammanfattas med att hade den filmen inte varit animerad hade den sugit så jävla hårt.
Idén med Metron är schysst, den känns fräsch och det i sig är ett läskigt scenario. Animationen är snygg. Annars är det mest tramsigt och bara B.
